what do you need for wifi to connet

This maybe awkward but I have to go with the flow. I won't lie I don't know wifi that much, what is wifi ssid my network name is mtn is my ssid mtn or am I missing something here help guys . Tanks

Your ssid could be the name of your router or a name that you give it.
