Please Help Me & My Bb Curve 8520
 
I can not download on the Blackberry App . Wen ever I try to do so it will say There is an issue with the current season. Please log in to continue.( Error Id; 30702) when I view my profile and log in , it will still repeat it again.. Please I need help... Tell me what to do please.

Yes or no? Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.
Without a BlackBerry Data Plan you can not download applications.

Contact your carrier if you are interested in getting a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Do you have a SIM Card in your BlackBerry?
When you turn it on, it shows the name of a carrier on the top of the screen. It is the company you use to make phone calls and send texts.

Your carrier is the company that provides your cell service. Like Verizon or AT&T in the U.S., Orange, Airtel, MTN, Vodafone, Vodacom, etc. elsewhere. Call them and ask for a BlackBerry data plan.

Contact MTN. They are your mobile carrier. Tell then you have a BlackBerry 8520 and want a BlackBerry Data Plan.

We can't give you any more help..

Usually you can dial 611 on your phone to get connected to your carrier. Once they have the BlackBerry data plan on your account you might have to wait several house for it to be provisioned properly. If after 2 or 3 hours you don't have data access, try restarting your BlackBerry.

The 611 short dial code doesn't normally apply overseas unfortunately, however, almost all carriers have a similar code to reach customer care. Some even allow you to set up bolt-ons like BlackBerry data via SMS.

I would try and reset the phone, wipe it and start again, i had 2 do this with my old 8520. Pain!

I'm not sure why you're proffering this advice when the OP already solved their problem by getting a BlackBerry data plan. :?

I think post 16 should be deleted. I can just see someone else coming here and thinking they can get around having the the data plan, then reading this post. Only to come back complaining that all their contacts and text messages disappeared.
