I am getting the following message while opening the SMS INBOX

"Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException"

The INBOX is not opening.The messages are also not coming.

Can anybody help ?

Ugh, those Uncaught Exception errors are rough to sort out. I would suggest updating or even downgrading the handheld OS on your device.

You might also think about deleting the last one or two aftermarket apps you installed.

ALso try a battery pull to see if that does anything.
