Default BB10 and data settings

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I heard that with BB10, the data setting (APN etc...) will be set in factory for the reseller and won't be changeable. This sounds very strange to me as this would mean that you go to another aperator with your BB.

Do you know some details about this?

Regards

Where did you hear about that? The BB10 Dev Alpha APN is configurable.

From the MNO of the operator (MVNO) I'm working for in France. Maybe it's a local policy but it sounds very strange to me.

On all other models, the APN can be controlled by the carrier via service book. I wouldn't expect this to change.
