Calendar deleted after installing FaceBook update

I have lost all of my calendar entries after I downloaded the FaceBook update. The situation is dire. Can I retrieve it from anywhere? I have switched off and on and have taken the battery out and rebooted but have not been successful. Would love to hear from anyone who has got things back.

Were they synced somewhere? Do you have a backup?

Is it actually deleted, or are you looking only at the Facebook calendar? In Calendar, open the menu and choose Select Calendar. See if your regular calendar is there.

They are completly deleted and if you resync the calendar on the phone to facebook you can get back the entries created in the facebook app but most of my entries for appointments and meetings I put in manually directly to the phone and they seem to be gone forever I REALLY need this information please someone help!!!
