I have a blackberry bold 9300 and I am on the fido afterwork $25 plan that includes 15o anytime min, unlimited talk after work (5pm) and unlimited text...but recently my phones been acting weird.
Ever since a random update the phone did to itself (installed maps, facebook, some email messengers...) my phone can access data and bbm. I am not on a BIS plan, or any data plan for that matter...

Whats going on? Before this random update...if I tried acessing the internet or whatever outside of wifi it sent me a message saying you have tried to access data blahblahblah, now it doesnt do this anymore it just connects.

I dont want to be charged...does anyone know whats going on?

You need to talk to you service provider. Who knows what you did. You may have accidently upgraded your account to a BlackBerry data plan, or your provider may have added it because you are using a BlackBerry on its network (some providers do this), or it may be some hiccup. No one here will know for sure. Talk to your provider.

Your BlackBerry did NOT run an update without your permission. That doesn't happen without somebody clicking "Yes" or "Accept". It's possible that your provider pushed some new service books to you, but that's not an update.
