All of a sudden i cannot hear anything on my phone both for incoming and outgoing calls.
The volume is set high so this should not be the cause.
Please can someone help with ideas of how to fix this

You are having too many problems with your device. Buy a new one.

Plugin the headset and check whether you can hear any sound. If you couldn't hear any sound, it's probably wrong with phone.
