i used to backup my blackberry curve 9300 regularly. last week, after updating to the latest bbm with talk features, i noticed that when i connect my bb to my laptop and hit the "backup" button, teh backup completes normally, but at the end i get an alert that some items are not supported by the back up, which are the opened bbm conversations.

when i closed the 2 conversations i had and backed up again, it backed up without giving me the alert.

before the latest bbm update, i used to backup normally with bbm conversations opened without getting any alerts. is this normal? is this related to the new talk feature that was added to bbm? i mean, did anyone else notice it?

There has never been any DM backup for conversations. The alert may be new but nothing has changed in that regard.

Before BBM7, BBM was backed up by Desktop Manager. However, BBM conversations were never backed up, even then.

Now, with BBM7 backups are done via cloud using your BBID account. Still, however, BBM conversations are not backed up.

The message during backup in Desktop Manager is new with BBM7. However, the only new thing is that DM no longer backs up BBM if you're on BBM7 since that backup is done through BBID.
