Problem with downloading songs on BB8250
 

Hi

I would like to know what's the story with my berry? Every time I try and download music it says "download failed" and I have a 8Gig memory card in. So I don't know what the problem is, can anyone shed some light please??!!

Are you using a service to download tracks or another method?

WiFi or Mobile network download?

That's the problem. All SA carriers are restricting or blocking downloads from BlackBerry devices, though MTN is usually better than Vodacom.

Yap I'm also in south africa the same problem I have a bold 9900 I'm tired of this shit what is the average download speed of a bold I'm only getting 1 kbps in 3g conection if I'm very very lucky I get 20

The 9900 should be able to download in the 1-5 Mbps range depending on the network.

Probably not on a South African network... no offense to them. We have networks that slow too in the US, one's called Sprint :P

Agreed. My post was about networks outside of South Africa. Also, the 9900 does not operate on Sprint, so Sprint's 1X EV-DO network wouldn't count.
