I recently got a new unit (7290 - Cingular) and gave my old unit (7280, i think) to a friend in San Francisco. While she does not yet have the data plan, she inserted her SIM card in the unit and the phone and SMS works. However, she called me this morning and for some reason my emails from various accounts are still being pushed to that unit as well. Is there any way to stop the emails from going to that unit. Thanks.
in addition to removing the old device's PIN from your current (active) BES/BIE/BWC, you should remove the Message Services CMIME settings and delete the requisite Service Books. clearing all data and settings from the 'berry will be the simplest fix after verifying the PIN is no longer associated with your service.
