Okay, wiped it again and this time loaded older software on the BB, I have the ability now to add personal email accounts but it keeps telling me the password or ID is wrong and am unable to connect to enterprise server, upgraded to newer software still no luck.

wiped again, installed older version on BB, still can't add personal or enterprise email, will call tomorrow, see if provider can help.

Something is wrong with the account set up on the carrier side. Have TELUS reprovision it.

Ok, getting somewhere, called Telus Mobility and since I couldn't remember the Blackberry account info I setup 3 years ago I created a new profile and was able to add my home emails to the phone, need to call in company internal department to get me enterprise server back up.

If you only have the one option it is due to restriction placed on the BB by your company. Try setting up the enterprise account and after it is working then try adding your own email account for Yahoo etc.

Okay, well this is interesting.
I updated to the "recommended" software for the phone, when I go to setup emails the only option I see is for the enterprise server, but my personal emails DO seem to be working and I can change settings for them by opening an email and going to options. First it asks for my BB id and PW which I setup on the BIS (that's what you call the online BB thing, right?)

Tomorrow I'll get the enterprise setup again with my "power user" status so my other emails should still be working (fingers crossed)

At least I'm learning something doing all this.

They reactivated my enterprise service and everything's back to normal, everything seems to be working again, thanks for the help.
