Default Blackberry service

In my part of the world, Cyprus, my mobile carrier (CYTA) claims that Blackberry service is not available for the new Z10/Q10 phones.

Is this the case, or are they finding excuses for not upgrading their own systems?

The regular data plan like you'd use with an iPhone or Android phone is all you need with BB10.
