Default possible to turn off DTFM sounds in ear?

I have a voice mail number programed into speed dial with a puase. After the pause it has to dail my home phone number (10 digits) and the pound key and then a password (6 more digits) all of which plays into my ear with the bluetooth earpiece. Is there anyway to turn this off? On my old cell phone I could turn it off. (i.e. the tones would be transmitted down the line but not played out through the speaker).
