I have a Blackberry 7290 v. 4.0.2.49. When I send a SMS message and get a reply I get this message "[some text missing]". Anyone know why this is happening? Its beginning to work on my last nerve.

The SMS you are receiving is over 160 characters in length and gets split into two or more SMS messages by your networks SMSC ( message center ). When a message is sent to you like this, refered to as a concatanated SMS, the Blackberry should join these messages together to complete the SMS but for some reason its not being delivered to you. You are best to contact your mobile network provider to find out why the second part of the message has not been delivered to you. It may be a problem more so on their end than yours!
