Default backing up my blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 7105t running os 4.0. I want to install os 4.1. I ran the backup that comes with the desktop software. I was wondering if I install os 4.1 and it goes badly or its really buggy or i just don't like it can I ust plug my bb back into my computer and run the restore/recovery and get it back to the way it was when I backed it up. Im sorry for the dumb question but my phone is working great and i dont want to kill the phone by messing up the os and not being able to fix it.

No, the Backup/Restore is for data or Data/Apps only, not positive but the latter I think. It does not restore the OS. You can always remove the newer OS from your PC and reinstall thr previous version.

Hope this helps.

I believe RCBJR is correct. I updated my 7100t twice - - the latest to 4.1. One word of advice is to be very patient when it loads 4.1. It took mine about 20 minutes. I have also read threads where it took others longer. Whatever you do, DO NOT unplug your connection while doing the upgrade - - Be Patient. You can also search threads for upgrading. Thanks for the info, it helped out a lot. So I'm going to get the install going then. Everything i read said it took 20-30 min for it to install, so I'll be patient. Thanks again
