Default BBlight app

Please Login to Remove!

Hey i'm new to the forum, I have a 7520. I just downloaded the BBlight.zip and jsut need to know where to extract the files to, so that the desktop manager will see it for install.

Can anyone suggest any other usefull utilities as an upgrade for a standard 7520 build running 4.1.0.273.

Thanks,
Ben

You can put the files anywhere really. but to make it easier on you...

c:\program files\common files\research in motion\shared\loader files

check out(and by check out, I mean search)

I had prevoiusly extracted them to the desktop, but how specifically do I get the blackberry to see them. Forgive my ignorance, I've only had the BB about a week.

Thanks,
Ben

That is how I've been doing it, but the BBlight app isn't showing up, which is what prompted me to wonder if it needed to be extracted to a specific location. The files extraced were:

BBLight.alx
BBlight.cod
License.txt
release.txt

Are these the correct files? If not, where can I get the correct files? Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

Default 7250 BBlight using Desktop Manager or BBManager

I downloaded the BBLight from the link and put the bblight.alx in the directory that stores them and the COD file in the Java directory yet when I run desktop manager it doesn't find BBLight. Suggestions?

Rebooting the bb doesn't work and I have tried this both on the DTM and BBmanager , loading a configuration that points to the loader files that have BBlight.

Help?
