Default Blackberry reception

I have a 7750 and have not experienced any problems with the reception. Just a matter of getting used, turn the volume up a tad and keep it away from your ear. If you hold it at a certain angle, it is hard to hear.

Heavily dependent on where you live. I lived in Edmonton, Canada - no problems at all. I moved to SLC, UT, horrible reception. The only reason I stayed w/AT&T was 1) I had no choice as it's my conpanies phone and 2) I travel so much it didn't matter all that much. I moved to Jax, FL about 6 months ago and have great reception -

I have a 7290 in Connecticut, and reception is crystal clear.

I agree. My 7290 has the best reception and volume level of any other phone I have had. Judging by the type of phone you have, 7750, you must have Verizon or Sprint. Question answered.

The 7750 has software bugs that cause "reception-like" issues. Please upgrade your BlackBerryOS on your 7750 to improve your "reception" (It is not a reception problem, but a 7750 software bug)

In my opinion, the 7750 is the slowest BlackBerry, and the slowness can cause problems with its ability to process voice at times....
