Default RIM is testing a Chat Client for Lotus Sametime (For 4.0 OS)

The Beta will be released in the next 2 weeks. Just got word from our contacts at LotusSphere 2005

Once I have more information, I will post it.

That's awesome! How much do you know about it when comparing is to the Sametime Everyplace Product from Lotus?

Default Sametime For Blackberry

I have not had the chance to test out STEP.

I forgot to add that this is mainly a Sametime Only Client for the BB 4.0 from RIM. This will not include AOL, MSN, or ICQ as the 7100 does.

nice, will it relay all messages via BES so i can hit my internal sametime servers within my corp network?

Glad to know people are working on corporate instant messaging!

For personal chat, such as AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo chat, I highly recommed Verichat
(Far better than the 7100 chat client):
