I am a UsCellular Agent. I have just activate a Blackberry 7250 for a hearing impaired customer. He would like to how aim on his blackberry to talk to friends. Our customer service department and tech can not figure out how to get it. I have spent the last few days trying to help my customer. I have found out that our it doesnt support wap gatewaps or tcp/ip address. If anyone has any feedback or know how I can download it for my customer please let me know[

I have a 7250 as well. The post from aergina, that is a free IM program and works good. There are other programs that you can check into but have a different range of costs. Verichat, Yak-on, IM+

If the user isn't on BES that'll rule out most of the apps lraed74 had suggested.

People here have posted being able to use Ramble without making any changes to the TCP settings so it might be the user's one and only choice.
