Unhappy Licensing issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Bit of a newbie on the Blackberry but getting into it. Don't know if anyone has any idea on this issue. We have a BES server version 4.0 and over 40 clients. We did not get our permanent licence key at start so we were given an evaluation one, but only for 20. This worked for a while during rollout till we reached 20 and the we got another evaluation licence key for 30. So far so good the evaluation keys just added up to 50 and did not wipe each other out. Now about 2 months later we get a permanent licence but for 20 (so 20 short). I (perhaps foolishly) decided to apply the permanent licence (assumption was that it would add to the existing evals and they would time out - assumption being the mother of somebody!), on which the application replied that 'all evaluation licences have been deleted from the Licence manager'. Hmm. Talked to provider about getting permanent licences that were outstanding. Yawn! No response. RIM did say that on a call to them that you should be able to add the permanent to the eval, but no. So here is the question. Can I re add the evals to the permanent? Have not tried. Why not? you ask. Because currently all evaluations are enable until I click OK on the above message. Catch 22. Any ideas?

You might have better luck on the BES Admin Corner forum here.

Hope this helps.
