On the Tmobile site the Blackberry page asks for your # to set up an account. Do you have to call customer service first to set your account up for BB service or will it just start to work by setting the account up via the web?
Or must the phone # have BB service on it in order to get the email service to work?

When you go through the setup, you will have to enter or confirm the PIN number and IMEI. The www.tmobile.com/bwc site will require you to enter a valid tmobile phone number to get into the BWC application. Alternatively, you can get in via https://webclient.blackberry.net/Web...w.jsp?site=tmo -- in any event, you will not be able to setup an account without the PIN/IMEI of a Blackberry that has the Blackberry data service enabled.

You need to call t-mobile and setup your BlackBerry service before you'll be able to receive and send e-mail.
