Default HELP - Coverage in Turks and Caicos

Please Login to Remove!

My boss is in Turks and Caicos right now and can not get a network - I have called T-Mobile and everything is set up with the account but still does not work - he scans for networks and finds none - or if he does it still does not give him a signal - anyone have any tricks

Did TMO say that there should be coverage where he is? Is he in a populated area? Maybe he just isn't near a cell.

I had data and voice in Turks last year on Cingular. They have GSM/EDGE there. What does TMO use??

Make sure he has world class coverage enabled.

He had world class and he has the correct phone . . . it just will not connect . .

Yes - TMo said that there is coverage - and he told me that everyone else is walking around talking on their cell phones

This happened to me this past weekend in Japan. I could see the two WCDMA networks on my Nokia 6630, but could not connect.

I called T-Mo int'l roaming from a payphone, and it turned out that the physical permissions had not been set to allow me to roam. I had World-Class, but my physical permissions had to be re-set to on because of a plan change I had made a few months ago.
