Set up an autotext for messages from your BB. I use zz that adds a signature line that incudes <sent from my blackberry device>. In your webclient add a filter to not forward messages "from" yourself that has that signature. That should work for you.

I was going to recommend filtering them as well. I have my corporate e-mail account linked to my Blackberry, but I have a LOT of filters enabled so I only get a specific subset of the messages sent from the office...

ok, figured it out (me = idiot). rohardi, set up the filter through the website of your service provider. i just told it not to send any messages to my handheld that were from my email address. boom, done.

now...last question...can i do this for texts? i don't need to see all my outgoing texts on my damn bberry? all i want to see in my main messages page are the incoming txts (and incoming emails of course)...is there a way to do THIS too?

haha,

most annoying new bberry owner ever!

My problem is the opposite. I want to see messages sent on my blackberry on my Gmail system in my computer (for future reference). I've been able to filter it so that my Berry emails hit my computer when I send out a new message with "using:web client" on my header, but I can't figure out how to get my replies to emails sent to my computer because all my received emails come in with "using:desktop" as a header. Same when I send a new message and forget to change my "using:desktop" header to "using:web client" header.

I'm still trying to figure out how to set up my Berry so that it automatically defaults to "using web client" on all my new messages, and my replies to emails, so that I can have my computer receive all messages from my Berry. I've got a BES account through Mailstreet, so I'm off to them to seek a fix.
