Default HELP! With Mail Redirector

Please Login to Remove!

I've got an 8700c, using BIS for e-mail redirection from Outlook. Set up redirection rules on my side and server side, all was well for about a week. Today I am not receiving redirected mail from Outlook. All rules still in place and I can receive e-mail if sent directly to ?????@mycingular.blackberry.net address.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried logging into the BIS directly? Have you tried sending to your BB address from another email account (like Yahoo or Hotmail)? It may be a problem connecting from your desktop to the BIS.

Why bother with redirector, set up a forwarding rule within outlook and have your mail forwarded to either your bb directly or what i do i use a gmail account to serve as a collection point for all the email accounts i have and then forward from gmail to the bb.

Mine will do that sometime and I ahve found that sending an email will correct it. I also find it handy to login to the redirector and check the stats and filters to verify all is well. As with all MS products.. a good reboot is in order weekly.

As for the comment about forwarding you email via rule to the bb address.. that only works if your admins allow server side rules. Clunky way of doing it.

Anyway to each their own...
