Default Can't switch to other apps while in phone mode

Please Login to Remove!

I used to be able to switch to my home screen and/or other applications while a call was in progress by using the usual keystroke, alt-esc. However now it seems to have no effect. Am I missing something? Has something changed?

Thanks.

Shane

Instead of using Alt-Esc, try pressing the wheel.

Yes.. not sure ALT ESC combo is supported anymore and don't feel like calling someone to check ... Use the track wheel as stated above my Matthew and and click home.

Still works on my 8700. Just checked it out. Original release version of the OS.

I suppose you have tried the old stand bys
Hot Re-Boot (ALT+CAP+DEL)
Cold Re-boot (battrey out, wait 15 - 30 secs, battery in)

Hope this helps.

You need to click the wheel to unlock it if it was locked when you answer the phone..

ah! ok. i didn't realize there was a home choice with the trackwheel. but i think patrick it the nail right on the head- my phone rings from the locked state therefore I wouldn't be able to transfer to the home screen using alt-exape anyway.

Thanks for the input!
