i was looking at the specs for charging the ipod.. it says 5-30 volts at 1 amp max. the blackberry wall plug says 5v at .5 amp output. does anyone use the bb wall plug as an adapter to charge their ipods? i'm thinking it should work but i just got my nano today and i dont' want to kill it so soon

Do yourself a favor and spend the money for an OEM adapter. I purchased an adapter from a 3rd party and it fried my Vid Ipod. Luckily, I work 5 minutes from an Apple store and they swapped my pod with a new one.

Needless to say, I am not using that adapter anymore ...

It's your choice ...
