Has anybody experienced this?

Upon un-holstering the bb from the original plastic clip holder, the bb resets itself (ie. reboots with hourglass).

I'm guessing this is a problem ?

Now the details that might help us and you figure this out.

OS version (if you can keep it on long enough):
Any changes lately (like when it started or has it always happened)
Does it do it only when coming out of the holster and not any other time in standby?

Off the top of my flat head.. I have heard where the magnet in the holster can cause these issues if too strong but never been a witness. Since you state that it is the factory holster.. I think unlikely.

it's a replacement to a faulty unit, so brand new. Only happens when coming out of holster, no where else.

you will most probably need a MS fix.......Patch for a Patch for a patch......Ask for another unit. It sounds more like a hardware issue.
