Unhappy TO the GENIOUS-jvm error 102 - and appear disconnected in desktop manager

I need a very special help. I have a JVM ERROR 102, in my blackberry 7290 and i Know that i can solve it with the APLICATION LOADER and i have the all the .alx and .cod files BUT appears DISCONNECTED in DESKTOP MANAGER. pleaseeeeeeeee WHAT CAN I DO?????????????? my blackberry is correctly connect to the usb port. and appears connected in the blackberry handheld manager. WHYYYYYYYY???????????

Here is what Java error 102 means:
The system has checked the .COD files in the handheld for modification, and determined that there is a problem with one or more .COD files.

If all loads fail, it could indicate a build process error where there was a problem signing the codfiles.

If some user action to the device caused this problem, the reset cycle will be continuous since the code in the filesystem has been corrupted. The only recovery method is to wipe the device and restore a new system.
With the information you have provided, I think you need to completely wipe the device and reload the operating system. Download JL_Cmder (link in my signature) and use option #5 to wipe the device. Dont worry about the Desktop Manager not being able to see the BlackBerry after being wiped, this is normal. Then you need to download and install the operating system. See the BlackBerryOS Upgrade thread for OS download links and install instructions.

thaNKS a lot. i PRESS #5 option (wipe) and then in my blacberry appear a code 507. How can i do to install the new software. Remember in the desktop maneger appear disconected. Thanks

1. Install your carriers hand held software on your PC
2. Install the Desktop Manager on your PC.
3. Launch your Desktop Manager
4. Connect your BB to your PC directly, no hub.
5. Do a ctrl+alt+del on your BB
6. When the hour glass appears on your BB double click the App Loader icon within the Desktop Manager.

Should ask you to confirm your PIN do so and follow the process through to reload the OS.

Try popping the battery out for 30 secs or so, upon re-seating it see if that gives you an hourglass and follow the process.

Here is a link to what the 507 error means.

Since you wiped your BlackBerry, there is no operating system on your device. Please follow the instructions provided on in the thread I previously linked to, or use what finch already stated.

In a nutshell,
  1. Download the handheld OS for your specific BlackBerry model and cellular carrier. For example, dont download a Cingular OS for a Verizon BB.
  2. Install the downloaded OS to your computer.
  3. Connect BlackBerry via USB and launch BlackBerry Device Manager.
  4. Double-click on Application Loader. Follow the prompts.
  5. When the list comes up with what to install, dont forget to scroll down and select everything.
  6. When the Application Loader says its done leave the BlackBerry alone. There is still up to 30 mins to go.

ok. Something more. I live in Dominican Republic and i try to use my blackberry with my SIM ORANGE CARD but the message is Invaled Sim card. I Download the blackberry os for ORANGE and I intall it, i erase the vendor.xml, then i install the this OS..... BUT THE MESSAGE IS THE SAME. "invalid SIM card"

Your BlackBerry has a SIM lock. It will only work with the original carriers SIM cards unless you get it unlocked. What do you see in the line "Vendor ID", when you press and and H.

You have asked a lot of questions that have been answered here many, many times.

Two comments:

1) Read the Sticky FAQs at the top of the General BlackBerry Discussion
2) Use the "search button" at the top of every page

There must be 100 threads on how to unlock a BlackBerry. I will save you time.

Contact Bongo Wireless (http://www.bongowireless.com) or GSMPhoneSource and see if they can unlock your BlackBerry for you. It is not free. There are no free unlocking services for the BlackBerry.

Then in that case before you get flamed for not searching I would suggest doing so. There are hundreds of threads on the forum about unlocking BlackBerry's. Kindly search either unlock, unlocking or BlackBerry unlocking for that matter. On that note we can bring this thread to a close as it has wondered off it's original purpose!
