Where would I be able to buy a sprint blackberry. Im interested in switching from nextel also but I didnt see a blackberry on the sprint phone page. Do i need to get an unlocked phone?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7250/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I bought my 7250 at CompUSA, but I think the Sprint stores will also sell to non-business cutomers. I also use Nextel as my primary voice provider.

Its a great set-up for me. I would probably go with the Sprint Blackberry only, but I really depend on Direct Connect on a daily basis. I thought about going with a Nextel 7520 only, but I need a back-up phone anyway and when using data services all my calls would go to voicemail and my DC calls wouldnt come through. I may still try the 7520 down the road.

7520 doesn't always go to voicemail but it does happen. its nice to have the speakerphone. my only gripe is the lack of a decent speed internet connection, but idon't think EVDO is active on the sprint BB anyway

EVDO is not active on Sprints Blackberry. Another pro for the 7250 is true SMS.

IMHO, I'd stay away from Sprint/Nextel altogether & go w/ a GSM Blackberry.
