Question 7130e newbie ? about sms when phone off

Please Login to Remove!

If my phone is off for the weekend or the battery dies say, will my sms messeges that were sent to my Phone ( while it's off ) be received when it's turned back on ?

Recently I was told by a verizon rep that sms messages stay in the que for 3 days and will go to your device when it is turned on. I have not tested this information.

That is correct. Txt messages will stay in the q for 3 days. If the sender of the txt msg is a vzw customer also they will get a notice if the message is not delivered to the intended handset in three days. They message will say something like "txt msg to ____ has expired".
