Default BES or BWC?

Sorry but I'm a newbie and feeling a bit thick in the brain today. I am on Nextel and thinking of going to a BB. Our company does not have the resourses to have a BES inhouse and was thinking of just doing the BWC that Nextel offers. But now that I read this foruem, I am seeing that I guess I can get a BES by going to myblueberry of BES40.com? This also seems cheaper than the 44 dollars for unlimited data service that Nextel was quoting me.

There just seems to be something missing. Or am I not considering some points or issues? I use Outlook 2000 and if I go to the BES services, it appears I will have to upgrade my outlook software. That is something I would not like to do.

Is there a way to keep this migration to BB simple so that I can understand it? I was thinking of doing the BWC because my sales rep said that if I don't have a good size company, the BES was not the way to go. But like all sales reps., I think they think with their bank account and not with what will be the easest and best for the customer. Thank God there are foreums like this!

Going to a third party BES/MDS supplier will increase you costs not lower them. You still need your package from Nextel. I'm not sure if you must upgrade your Outlook or not. I would check with your potential BES?MDS provider.
