On the edge of getting rid of my Nextel i95cl for a 7520. My big question is related to e-mail of course. I have about 4 POP e-mail accounts and I understand I can have all incoming mail sent to the Blackberry using the e-mail account that is provided with the Blackberry service. This e-mail (the POP accounts) is always downloaded and removed from the server using Outlook on my home computer.

If I send e-mail from the Blackberry, will or can this e-mail be synced with my sent folder in Outlook so I don;t end up with 2 different sent folders, one in Outlook and one on the Blackberry?

Also, will sent e-mail, from any of the POP accounts look like it came from the original account for a Blackberry address?

I use T-Mobile BWC. It gives me the option to bcc all sent mails to my email address. I have then created a rule on the outlook client to read the header for any email with and move it to the sent items. The only drawback of this is that whenever I send out a mail, I receive an extra mail on my blackberry device (which is also good, I know my mail has gone ).

Yup, looks like that may be the only option. I did a lot of reading and mail does not sync with Outlook. I like your idea.

When you reply and/or send from the BB, what address does it look like the mail came from and what address does the receiver see to reply to?

On the BWC you can choose the "From address" to display. At-least tmo.blackberry.com lets you do it.

If you pay $10-$25 per month extra for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (Mailstreet, BES4U, MyBlueberry, etc), you can get wireless synchronization of both incoming and outgoing emails.

So that all emails on BlackBerry is on-the-fly synchronized to your Microsoft Outlook, both sent and received emails (And saved emails, as well as the email folder structure).

The entire Outlook PIM, including Addressbook/Calendar/etc., is also wirelessly synchronized too as well, if you would like that. You add a new addressbook entry to Microsoft Outlook, and then it automatically shows up on your BlackBerry in 5 seconds.

However, if I send items from my Outlook on my PC can they appear in the sent items on the blackberry using BES?

Yes, with BES they will appear in the sent folder of the blackberry as well. It works like a charm.

Doesn't work for me but I am using a 7290 with 3.8. Is it a 4.0 thing or a config issue?

4.0 is required.. both bes and os.

Full wireless email/PIM synchronization requires both BES 4.0 and BlackBerryOS 4.0 .... (OS 3.8 and BES 4.0 might work, not sure... but I know BES 4.0 is essential, and I know OS 3.7 will not work)
