Default Everything syncs wireless but calendar

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have a user that was using a 7290. We switched him to a 7105 and now his calendar will not sync wirelessy. Is there someplace on the BB to turn that back on or atleast find out why it is off?

His BES profile says it should sync everything wirelessly and did on his 7290.

thanks for the help.

- Chris

It's on the Berry. Go to the calendar app. menu > option. There is an entry for wireless sync.

I have experienced this a number of times. Here are a few suggestions in order of easy to hardest. Though none are really all that hard.

Option #1 - Try deleting the Desktop[CMIME] service book. Then immeditally undelete it. Within a few minutes a slow sync will start. Basically, the portion of Enterprise Activation that syncs email, calendar, tasks, address book, etc. When complete you will get prompted with the Activation Complete popup message.

Option #2 - Wipe and reactivate the BlackBerry.

Option #3 - Delete and recreate BES account. Wipe and reactivate the BlackBerry.

Default Calendar synch issue

Followed your 3 steps above but only the third one worked for me. I did find some other info on why the Calendar was the only thing that would not synch wirelessly and found something related to "calhelper.exe". Seems like it is a component within BES that's related to the Calendar. I did have an exception error on my BES server directly related to this. I stopped/started most Blackberry services (don't know which one has to do with calhelper.exe) and it did seem to work once I re-added and synch the device.

longplay.

Change to in cradle sync. Sync once. Change back to wireless sync. Test by adding an entry to the calendar and see if it comes over to the device.

How can I wipe a blackberry0? Is that the Kill Handheld option in the manager?

Not sure how I would delete the desktop services file either...
