I am having some problems with BBmessenger with some people.

With my 7100 I had one person that I could never send a message to, they always appeared as Unavailable except for when we first added each other to our BBm list. They could send me messages but I couldn't send them one. Also we noticed that when I did send them one they would see their phone to a data poll but no message would arrive. Two 7100's had the same problem, then I got my 8700 and it was fine.

Now I have another person that I'm having the exact same problem with. I've tried adding him as a PIN and email contact to BBm on my phone, and me as a PIN and email contact on his 7290.

I love BBm for quick conversations between colleagues. Any ideas on whats happening?

When you speak of BBm, are you referring to PIN messages? Or is this an app I have never used on my BB........

SO the same activity is occuring now on your 8700? I have not run into that particular issue but it seems that it may be carrier specific....

I assume you have made the routine checks (service books, reset, etc). Also have you tried to actully send a pin message to verify that that user can get your pin emails?
