Default BlackBerry Desktop Manager & Citrix

Does anyone know if the Desktop manager will work with Citrix to allow synchronizing the PIM with Outlook?

I called RIM tech support and they actually had no clue...

Thanks.

Have you tried it to see? I would think that you could have established a Citrix session and tried to sync in the time that you have waited for a reply. My gut feeling is that it won't work but I am prepared to be wrong on that.

I actually work for a wireless retailer and a customer is asking. I guess I could just give them a demo to test with...

Even if your customer can get it to work, I highly doubt that RIM will provide any support for this configuration. With that being said, I am interested in knowing if it does work.

On further thought I think the only way that it may work is if they use a serial port for the sync instead of USB. Even then the Citrix session would need to be configured for serial redirection which is not that standard configuration. I'm pretty sure that there is no way to redirect USB ports in a Citrix session.

Ahhh, Serial to USB converter. That sounds promising.

If the customer does the test, I'll let you know how it went.
