I had posted yesterday asking how I could have all of my email addresses on my blackberry appear to be from themselves when I send. In other words, if I have [email address] and [email address], if someone sends an email to a and I respond, I want it to look like it came from [email address].

If someone sends an email to [email address], I want it to look like it came from [email address]

I thought that is what bbreply does, but I can't find any documentation on the app. Then today I saw this post and now I'm confused.

KonTiki is correct. BBreply only adds a header for replying.

T-Mobile's BIS implementation does integrate other email addresses defined on the BB that provides From address integrity. Other than that, there's no real way to get what you are looking for.

It seems so simple, even common sense, to allow people to just reply from the address it was sent to. That's how every email client works, so why would blackberry do it differently?

It's pretty frustrating to say the least.

We ALL feel your pain, as we ALL want that option as well. But, until other carriers get on board with the updated BIS, we're stuck.

Logic sometimes doesn't show it's ugly head in the real world, unfortunately.
