hey...i am extremely new to blackberry....just got mine last week...7520 for nextel...does anyone know if there is any cost involved to use this pin thing for nextel? also does it work internationally? and can you use it from any carrier to any carrier? i have the unlimited plan but i was just wondering....heres my PIN - 400A7CDA...oh and by the way, im from new york!! Thanks!

No there is no cost involved in PIN messaging, it does not go thru text messaging. It is a great thing, and is basically an email service just for us BB users.

Any one have problems with the Messenger?
I have 10 people on my list and everyone works fine except one person. He can send me messages, but he can't see the messages that I send him. We've tried removing and re-adding eachother by email and PIN. Also when we first add each other we are in the normal list, but within minutes we go onto the unavailable list on both our phones.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is an amazing app, and I'd love to be able to us it with this person. Also just to clarify, it works perfectly fine with the other people in my list.

I tried loading BB Messenger earlier this week from the BB link and it never worked. Because of the XML link on the BB site, it requires you to install an app loader. This causes messenger to be embedded in the OS and not a separate listing in the Options->Applications list.

Does anyone have Messenger that I can install via the Desktop Manager?

I am having the same problem with one user only. Everyone else are working fine. I can send to him but I cannot read messages from him. Same provider, same BES server, one 7730 and one 7290.

I went to the website on my BB and loaded it OTA. Works fine... give that a shot.
