Please Login to Remove!

I an swapping out my 7130 with verizon for a new one. It soft reboots for some reason half the time when I get a incoming call. I never hear it ring and after the reboot I have a new voice mail. Verizon is sending me a new 7130 via FedEx. when I get the new BB, will Verizon be able to transfer all of my settings and will my Gmail and other apps be transfered to the new BB? do I need to do anything special?

Were you using bluetooth when the device was rebooting?

Also, just backup your old 7130e to your computer and restore it to the new one when you get it.

Make sure you download the latest firmware from Verizon (4.1.0.286). You can check the version on your 7130 by going to the options->about

You can find the new firmware at dts.vzw.com

I backed up every thing to my laptop, have all my phone #s and settings. but when I back up to my laptop, can I get my third party apps. back? I had Opera mini working very well, I re installed it via the ota link and now it's very slow. any way to get it transfered from my old BB? would that make a difrence as to how it ran?

No, you'll need to reload all the 3rd party apps. If you use BES, the new OS upgrade should automatically complete your Enterprise activation, so you won't need to worry about that.

It was rebooting 5+ times per day. it was as if every time I had a incoming call it would reboot.
