Exclamation Please Help, Trying to Configure my Outlook with a mycingular.blackberry.net account

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to configure my Outlook 2003 with mycingular.blackberry.net account and I can not seem to find the section on https://webclient.blackberry.net/Web...ite=mycingular once you login where this info is posted. I have done this before with other web based email accounts and feel pretty confident that I know what I am doing but I am stuck on the incoming POP3 address and the SMTP out going address. Also is there any other configuration settings that need to be done?

Basicall I just need the incoming POP3 address & the SMTP out going address.

If anyone knows what they are I would really appriciate the info, once again this is for the Cingular Blackberry.

Thanks!

Are you trying to see up the BIS to POP your outlook account? Have you considered forwarding. There are many threads here on that.

Another answer: you can not do what you are trying to do. The BB e-mail address is not accessible from Outlook. It is not POP3.

No, I just want to be able to lanch my Outook from home and get my email from my email account at mycingular.blackberry.net That way I can can have my BB device connect to my home PC and run the BB Desktop Manager software to update contacts, calander, notes and task. I already know how to do the BIS and the BES stuff for the BB devices.
All I need is the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) for the mycingular.blakberry.net service.
This is frustrating because the web site to access your email from does not offer any of this information up at least from what I have found.

It's web based. Not pop3. No way.
OK - you can't do that.
Repeat: You can't do that.
That's not how it works. The web interface is the only way to get to your Cingular e-mail account. It should push that to your BB.

You may be confused about how e-mail (and PIM functionality) works on a BB.

You use Desktop Manager and Intellisync for everything except mail. Outlook can not read the e-mail coming in to your Cingular BB account.

Ok, thanks...I think we have a miss communitcation here.
I have had this setup before from this email address to my Outlook for several months and everything worked fine, my wife wanted to use a different email address, this is for her BB device. So I reconfigured everything so that Gmail is her primary email account going to the BB device. I went to the the https://webclient.blackberry.net/Web...ite=mycingular and did all the setting changes there to make it work. I also deleted the mycingular.blackberry.net profile from my Outlook and setup the Gmail account to Outlook. Once again everything worked fine.
Now my wife wants to drop the Gmail account as her primary and go back to the mycingular.blackberry.net as her primary email account, don't ask me why. LOL So I know that I have done this before a Cingular tech walked me through it, but I was hoping that someone here might know since they are closed on Sundays. It is possible that I am incorrect about it being a POP email address, but I am not incorrect knowing that it can be done since I had it before.
If it is not a POP email address then please tell me what it is and what the incoming server and out going servers address are?

This is new to me...are you sure that you didn't have the blackberry.net address forwarded to GMail and then were using Outlook to get your Gmail account?

You may want to tell your wife that the blackberry.net account has no spam filtering like gmail does....I wouldn't use my blackberry.net account anywhere...cause once the spammers have it...they'll never leave you alone and there is nothing you can do about it.

Actually, you are incorrect. You cannot get the BB mail as pop3 to your Outlook. You must have been routing it through your Gmail and then to Outlook. Or, you may have had your BB mail forwarded directly to another pop account or Gmail acct. Basically, there aren't any incoming/outgoing server codes to enter for BB email retrieval.
