Default No message services?

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased a used BB 7750 (I know I know) off of ebay, I currently have it turned on through my Verizon service. The phone was sent to me with no OS on it so I put the verizon version of 4.0 on it. Now when I try to send an email message from the phone it tells me that there are "No message services configured. You will only be able to save a draft." Where would I go to setup the phone so I can send emails. Mind you this phone is not used for my company at all, it is just a cellphone with ALOT of bells and whistles for me. So if anyone can help me on what I need to do/install I would apperciate it

Do you get a Blackberry Data Plan for it, or are you just using a voice plan?

You need a Blackberry Data Plan, then you can sign into your BIS account on the web and push the service books to your handheld.

I bought the phone used from ebay...now when I go to the blackberry site (the verizon part) to sign up for my account it tells me that that esn and pin are already registered to somone else....I take it I have to call verizon and get them to sign me up?.....I just hope that I can get it done and not have a cellphone with a lot of bells and whistles...

If it was on a company BES it may have to be released from their accounts as well, I would call or message who you bought it from and make sure that they go through the motions to get it released at their end.
