I stopped being able to send or receive emails through BIS earlier today. BES has worked normally throughout. My emails are delivered to my BIS account (since I can see them online), but they're simply not delivered to my BB. I've tried resending the service books, but to no avail.

Am I alone here?

I have Cingular BIS, but I haven't noticed any problems....

I am on Nextel BIS. I haven't got anything since 9 pm on Sunday night.

My BES mail is coming through. My BIS mail is not. Since last night. My BIS mail is forwarded from comcast. I sent several email from my comcast address last night and nothing so far. [I just upgraded to the Bharti OS last night so I was hoping that didn't cause this.]

I'm not getting any on T-Mobile. I can't even log into the BIS site.

This is too weird. I called T-Mo PDA support, got an Engrish speaker. I'd already done all the usual troubleshooting stuff, but she asked me to pull my battery again, which I did. All at once, I got a bunch of PIN messages, and all my e-mail came through.

<shrug>

Its happening on Verizon as well. I got two message this morning. However I missed two (they are in the inbox on their BIS). Its gotta be something at the RIM NOC since its affecting all the carriers.

Yeah, I still can't even log into the BIS page on T-Mobile's website (but I can from my BB?).

Seems all carrier BIS access is shut down. Can't get to Verizon.

I can get to my Cingular BIS. What is very weird is that I can send an email and it goes to the bb but without the attachment!

I just got into Verizon with no problem and everything is functioning well there.

I can't get in to Cingular's BIS either - maybe they are UPDATING it! Hopefully...

It was down for almost 2 hours even though some emails were getting delivered to the device. However, there are now delays. An email forwarded at 9:31 today was delivered at 11:01 to my BB. The BIS shows an 11:01 timestamp in the inbox.

This started yesterday morning for a few hours then was fine the rest of the day on Verizon.

I am using cingular and was able to log in. Have been able to receive email to bb using BIS.

I am on Cingular using BIS and have had no problems all morning.

Got my mail. Ya'll are crazies.

My Cingular email has been down all day, messages can be seen in inbox when logged on to BIS account, none are delivered to my BB. Intermitent error messages when logging onto Cingular BIS account.

T-Mobile rep (english speaking) just told me that they've finally noticed a problem and are 'researching'. Emails sent via gmail that I've gotten are delayed, other POP's---not sure.

I couldn't even login to my T-Mobile on Sunday...said I never registered. Went ahead and re-registered and don't see a BIS link, just regular email....

I started having problems last night. I can not login to Verizon's BIS at all right now.

I can loggin fine to Verizons web client, I would call them and find out, this may be a regional thing i am in NJ.

Maybe, but the Verizon BIS bookmark now shows Page cannot be displayed. However, email is getting through. This is really crazy.

Looks like BIS is back up.

I get an "unexpected error" when attemption to access the cingular BIS page.

I can log on. Then on the main page, it says 42 unread messages. But then when I go to the mail page, there are only three messages. I still can't send an email with an attachment. Just the text goes through. Weird.

Cancel that. My BIS is now working just fine.

My Cingular BIS has been intermittent since 11 am ET. I called Cingular. The rep said all was OK at his end and put me through to RIM. RIM said they are having a BIS problem affecting a small number of users. They are working to correct and it should be back up soon. That was about 2 hours ago. He said he will follow up with me and that no email would be lost. He said when the problem is fixed a bunch of emails should all come in at the same time.

That's what I know.

I haven't gotten mail all day. Rogers web client.

So much for that. Its down again.

I just got off the phone with Cingular and they said that RIM's side it really slow right now, thats why Cingular is having the issue. They said they do not know when it will be back up.

can't access cingular bis myself. the link appears to be invalid. i get "document contains no data" error when i try and access the site now.

I keep getting Page cannot be displayed. They said it's because the site is linked to RIM

I'm having problems too. I am on Cingular and I have the 8700c. Sent my BB an email at 6:30am, didn't get it till about 9:00am or so.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon. If this is all cause they are trying to upgrade/improve the system, I guess it's understandable that they ran into some unexpected problems.

Also, as of right now, I can't log on online either...

Upgrade...that would be nice.

Okay, now I'm jinxed....my Cingular BIS is screwed up. I can't log in and I'm having an email delay also. Bummer.....


Just talked to Jake @ Cingular tech support - said the RIM server is offline for all service providers....because of the new BIS upgrade!!! RIM expects to have it up ASAP

I know I'm having issues with Cingular's site, but I don't know if it is related to this issue:
I left my BlackBerry on the Metro in DC on Thursday. I thought for sure it was a gonner, so I ran out and bought a replacement on Friday. Well, thirty minutes after I set up the new BB online (new pin and IMEI,) I get a call that someone found it and actually NextDay-ed it to me. (This is a miracle in DC.) I go into the settings page to input my old IMEI and PIN and it says that it is already registered with another account. So I called Cingular to make sure that the IMEI isn't blocked or anything (due to me reporting the phone as lost,) and they said it is not. After 30 minutes, he said it is due to RIM's difficulties/upgrades-- any ideas?

The Nextel BIS seems to be working fine this morning. I've received emails when I powered it on and also got to log into BIS and cleared my inbox.

I can finally get ing to the BIS site!!!!
YEAH!!!

Crap, now it's back down again!!
