Angry Anyone else setting alarms off???

Please Login to Remove!

Is it just me, or is it that every time I walk into a convenience store or department store, the alarm goes off!!!! It has to have something to do with my blackberry 7290 :( Anyone else experiencing this? How embarassing.

I dont know it has not happened to me yet but I wonder if it could be the magnet in the holster much like the magnetized strips that they put on cds and merchandize.

Are you wearing steel toe shoes. That happened to me once. I was wearing boots and I walked in and the thing started beeping.

Default Another thought

I had bought a pair of shoes at K-Mart and they never ran them over the device to de-whatever it does to them. I had the same issue until I stopped back at K-Mart and they ran the shoes over the device. Never had a problem after that...

I've had it happen with cell phones in general. It depeds on the sensitivity of the sensor.

I used to think it was my bberry causing it, but it turned out to be my office security badge. Do you carry a keycard for getting into/out of your office building?
