360k w/54 lives now.

1,959,230 with 92 lives. . Now my husband just bought me the bold, is there anyway i can transfer my game from my curve to my new Bold. Also I tried to send my high score but it keeps telling me my password does not match, I dont recall me setting one up, what should I do?

This games never saves where you are. As soon as you do a hard reset or pull the battery your score is lost and you need to start again. That's the only reason why I've never managed to get that high of a score. It just takes too many days and I need to do a reset cause I've installed or deleted a app that requires a reboot or I've done another Os upgrade on my bold.

Had to do a hard reset after a lockup. Lost the game at 390k and 70+ lives. That will pretty much end my Brickbreaker days.

I agree, will stick with my xbox360 for playing games. Just surf the internet or read the news if I get bored.

Hey guys, my best score was 127,610 with 48 lives, but I got bored and decided to kill all of them so that I could see my ranking, I was only ranked #1200, so this time I am up to 224,600 with 78 lives and will go until I hit 2 Million.

I play version 4.5...right now my high score is 11920 and I made it to level 23.

Hi guys. Are you as frustrated with this game as me? I have the Blackberry Curve 8360 with 34 levels of Brickbreaker to beat. The highest level I have reached (and have yet to beat is 21). I currently host a high score of 12020 and yes I hate FLIP. I only grab the FLIP capsule when I have but a few bricks left to break (1-3 at most) OR another capsule drops right after it which reverses the process. And yes I restart level 1 unless I receive a life and gun or laser combo the highest score on level 1 I've obtained is 300. Anyone obtain higher on this level? The second level the most I have obtained is 800 including the score from level 1 so (580-600) depending on my level 1 score which I reset if I have not gained 220 points minimum. So anyone out there as obsessed and drained from this game of Hell as me feel free to post!!

Well, I'm just getting started (8,650), so I haven't really had time to get all that frustrated. But I am looking for pointers on how to play and such. Anyone know where I can look? Just a pointer to something, I don't want to hijack this into a tutorial thread.

hahahah i'll post my score on youtube as well, my game glitched so i lost at 44 lives but i was strong and going with a score of 214,080! hahahaa and it really is possible

My high is 7310 on level 12 My husband is on level 13 at 8150 and that is 4.3 brick breaker (sprint 8330 curve)

Been all the way through the levels once. Then it goes back to level 1 with the blocks lowering much more quickly. Got to board 13 on the second time through.

First of all, to those that are posting some form of "what a waste of time!" - let me point out that you took the time to register and validate an account on this forum simply to insult people you don't even know for doing something you aren't able to do. If that isn't a waste of time, I don't know what it. Additionally, based upon the maturity of doing something like that, I can only assume that you actually met any of these people in person you would either be calling them "sir" or you'd be too nervous to talk to an adult in such a childish manner.

Anyway, for those that are racking up 1m+ scores, I wanted to Thank You. I was starting to get hooked on how far I could get in the game (having gotten 12k at level around 20) and after reading this board and seeing how far I would have to go, you've relieved me of this need!

I did have a few questions, however, that you probably all have figured out having played so much:

- are the volume of power-up drops random? It seems like some board have tons of drops (the 1st board always has 2) and some have none. Is this random or programmed by the board?

- what sets the point at which the board begins to lower? I know once it happens it happens each time the ball touches your paddle, but does it start after a certain amount of time or after a certain amount of paddle hits?

- are there any especially interesting later boards? my only remaining motivation is to see all the boards. perhaps someone could post screen grabs of each of the levels along with comments about their favorites?

- finally, a few people have said something like "after you go through the cycle twice, then it becomes easy". Is this because the game actually slows down and becomes easier, or is that the magic point at which you have so much experience playing that it seems easy to you?

My previous highest score was 31720 where I completed all stages once and then at 17th level I was out of lives.

RIGHT NOW... my game is in progress... I have 19 lives and my score is 44,960 :D lol... my brother believes i am crazy now... but trust me this game is piece of cake for me now. I WANT TO KNOW WATS THE HIGHEST SCORE IN THE WORLD???

Never been able to get back to that score, consistently in the high 8000's though. The secret is to keep starting over until you get a lot of "life" drop downs on the first level. If you get that, they keep coming. My highest amount of lives going in to the later levels was 8.

I too ran into this problem. Is this a bug with the program itself? Is there
some way to get past this? I can't even get rid of the lives so the score
will post in the high score for the game!

I got to 1,297,050 with 403 lives which was about 76 cycles through all
34 levels. I think I'm addicted.

Hey guys i have version 4.2.2 and i guess its just a whole lot easier cause i have 24460 and my buddy has over 32000 so i guess its a little different

The key to the U level is getting the catch or long. I have done it a number of times without lossing a life. Does anyone know of any thinks to get more lifes or anything else.

I was curious who had the highest score. I am at 722,820 with 230 lives left. I am on the 42nd time thru the levels. I am addicted! I also have the same problem of not being able to send my high score due to the password not being correct.

Some interesting notes.. Ive been playing this game since early last week in my spare time.

When I crossed the 400,000 mark I had over 130 lives. from a score of 430k thru about 490k it would do the crazy "spastic" ball thing where it goes so fast it cant be bounced. loose a live, but to add insult to injury, it offered no NEW lives for that stretch either. When the bleeding stopped at 490??? it had taken almost 40 lives. I am back to 112 with the last 10,000 points.

(I thought this was a slow life taking event which would eventually lead to games end)

I am concerned the mouse control is loosing some accuracy as well.

I can see several million of a score on this game as long as I dont drop the phone and the battery comes off again :( ( did that about a month ago)
