9450 is my highest score. addicting as hell

Aaaarrrgh!!! I went to bed with 1.95million points and 485 lives and the next morning the game was gone--did not even update my high score. I did not close it or do anything different, it just happened. The good news is I am already back in the hunt, about to break 100,000 in a quest to get back to where I was....

I was getting about 18,000 a level (17,935 was the average). The key is to keep the laser as it gives you double points on the bricks, and ignore everything else unless you have only a few bricks left, and it is worthwhile to accept a different bonus (and yes, it gets easier to ignore the extra life bonuses when you have a couple of hundred )

Much easier on 3rd time through the 34 screens. Re surviving the U on level 16 when the U is all the way down, I aim to the far right, shoot the ball, then move to the right fast so the ball bounces off the right corner of the paddle. Usually the ball will go up the right side after just one bounce. Yes it's tricky but you can get the rhythm and beat it.

1,031,260 w 226 lives. beat my old best score by 1,000,010 and climbing.

Using the menu key, I can get into all the high scores on my BB 8330. Right now it's 7,777,770 and it takes about 1.5M to get into the top 100. As long as I don't have to pull my battery or reboot, I'll make a run at it.

Does anyone else get double vision after playing a while?

After much effort I have scored 10,370, Level 18. At one point I had 10 lives and still had 7 when I was over 7,000 points. True story.

I'm also on the (loooong) way to the top 10. Currently 1,965,480 with 775 lives in the 113th run.

I have looked at the leader board and the scores are astronomical!!! How is that a person can get to level 6 and score and score thousands of points? Do the levels keep restarting?

My best is 10,780 and level 18. The most lives I've gotten is 12. There has to be some extra life code or soemthing.

I stopped the game (deliberately killed about 850 lives) at about 2.1 million points, just to get into the leaderboard, since I didn't find a way to post intermediate scores. Of course I started playing again now again at 80 thousand points with 50 lives.

The leves keep restarting, last one is 34. And there is no extra life code or anything -- as far as I know -- but the game gets easy after you pass the 34 levels twice (no 'hyperspeed' of the ball anymore).

I'm back in the race at 1,625,180 points in the 92nd run with 763 lives.

Wow, I'm only 28,880 and I went through the levels once and went up to like 20 or 21 before dying again.

Last night my blackberry fell on the floor and the battery came out. Of course brickbreaker was reset to start after booting again. And this with more than 1000 lives and almost 2.5 million points
I guess I won't try again to get in the highscore list. I spent weeks to get to where I was, and the game is only fun / challaging the first two rounds (34 levels each). From the third round on it gets boring.... you practically cannot lose the game once you passed the first two rounds.

EVery time the BB asks me if I want to send my high score, it asks for a password, and I have no clue what to do. I am currently approaching 1 million points.

Anyways. My highscore is 26520 and I went through all 34 levels, and it starts over at level 1 and got to level 16 and died.

I've got to 25000 a couple of times but, other than that I can't get past there. Would like 30000, but, I can't beg.

I am at 1,012,500 and 166 lives...so yet a while to go before i get into the top 100...

I got up to 1,295,810 with almost 600 lives when the stupid glitch halted my game. This was on my old Pearl and I still have the score on my screen but switched out to my new Curve already. Thus I'm sure I can't do a screen shot. It's true that after the 3rd level it's all the same - hence my quest to maximize lives vs. total score. I know how to outsmart the obliterating ball glitch if anyone wants tips. Plus about 80 rounds in there is another glitch that gets wacky, and I can't outsmart that one. You'll be playing along then the prompt says try again! or whatever, so you don't lose any lives but you do lose any special powers you just had such as Catch, which is very handy in some screens and when you have to start again in the middle without it, it sucks. After awhile, the prompt comes up immediately after hitting your first brick, then with the angle you're never able to hit the last brick directly and after it banks off a wall the prompt comes again. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only obsessive brick breaker geek out there. And by the way, I hate the game now on my Curve. The dimensions are all strange and hard to get used to.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the old Plazmic Brickbreaker forum? I participated there, albeit infrequently, and have just now discoveder that it is gone. I was following a particular thread and would kind of like to find it again. Thanks...

I'm at 1,108,530 with 53 lives left. The high score on my Blackberry says its just a little over 1,000,000, but on here people have said more. Is there somewhere else to check/post high scores?
