Right now my high score is 8755. I'm not sure how many levels I've beaten, I'll have to check next time I play.

Beat my score today while dumping some groceries. I am now up to 9020 on ver 4.0.

Yea, not a huge jump, but that horseshoe keeps kicking my ass.

I have to knwo when someone starts the 8K club in 3.7. After about 2,000 games I topped out at 7,600.

Got 4.0 a few weeks ago. Blows 3.7 away. GET IT. Have been playing non-stop and just had my best (so I had to post) level 29 , 15,805 points. Took about 40 minutes. After level 16, it gets a LITTLE easier....

I just looked up the thread and saw Nelrock saying a 8,630 on 3.7?

I finally found a place to talk about brickbreaker.
My high score is 22,405 on 4.0. After completing all 34 levels you start back on level 1, and the ball goes much faster and the bricks drop down every time the ball hits your paddle.

Using handheld SW 4.0 - High scores so far: 9095 on my Verizon 7250, 8945 on my Nextel 7520. Trying to get past the 10k mark!!!

I may be on the wrong version from some of you but it says 4.0.0 on a Bb 7280.

My high score is 28,210.

I haven't seen anyone close to that score so it makes me think I am not 'in the know.' I do play rather religiously.

What an addictive game!!!! My high score is 9045 and for the love of GOD, I can't seem to break 10,000!!!

I have the 3.7 version and I got up to 20,475. It flips back around after level 34 but gets much harder. My previous high was 15540 so this was a huge jump. Lots of points after you pass those last few.

I have a score of 10020. Once I got past board 16 I was able to go a little while longer. The trick is to save as many lives as you can to use on that board and hope for a gun or catch.

on the 4.0 version my high score is 14360. Took me about 2 months to get there though .

I got past level 34 and then it wrapped around to level 1 again. It got harder. The ball moved faster and the bricks would start their downward procession sooner. I got as far as the dreaded horseshoe before it beat me. I was lucky by getting a lot of lives but I've discovered a few tricks along the way.

I think the catch is the most useful as it puts you in control. long can be almost as useful as catch. Gun has its value but you have to be careful on the higher levels as it might open up too many holes in the lower unbreakable bricks where the balls can get through. Those lower unbreakable bricks can work to your advantage.

Just switched to version 4.0 and now have my high score up to 27000. Cool how the game starts again and you keep your score. With the old version I was able to get 7850. Guns were all you looked for before now it is LIVES, LIVES, LIVES !!!

I have 4.0 running and my high score is 8110 - took awhile

I had a Verizon 7750 which came loaded with version 3.7, but then it was upgraded mysteriously to 4.0. Trying to get high scores on 3.7 is boring and monotonous.

The 7750 was a sad machine. very jerky, buggy and the like. Bad on 3.7, WORSE on 4.0. I even had the ball go THROUGH the steel "L" once. Lame. (the device had other problems which is why i upgraded.... i promise!) I upgraded to the Verizon 7250, a much more stable and smooth device.

Anyway, after 3 days of non stop playing (virtually) I'm at 13,655. I've made it past the U 3 times one time i rolled all the way to level 28. The smount of steel bricks after the U is ridiculous. I beat the U twice without catch or gun. I had a max of 13 lives when approaching the U but with the new 7250, I was able to contol the ball even with the ass end of the U right on top of me. I'm eager to get all the way around, but i'm going to need lots of life and gun luck.

Running 4.0 and finally passed level 34. Made it to level 14 the second time around and topped out at 24,085.

Brickbreaker is a way of life.

My High Score is 7575

Tips are the following:
Try to get at least 680 on the first level. That will be at least 2 guns. Other than 2 guns restart.

Second level should be around 2200.

Third Level should be around 3300.

Fourth Level should be around 5100 to 5200

Fifth Level (with lotsa Iron Bricks - 50 pts each and can be scored only via gun) - should be around 5600 to 5700

Sixth Level (with the L-iron brick) - this level is good for only 400 to 450 pts

Seventh Level - expect only 1500 pts for this level.

Before am a bit skeptical about 8000 but I just got a rare chance today but I blew it. 2 guns on level 5 and 1 gun on level 6

After breaking through level 16 was able to get to level 27. As everyone says " get LIVES' I was up to 15 down to 4 and then back up to 9 before hitting the wall. All together had about 25 lives to work with.

I've only been playing this game and I got 6810 already. I think that's bad still but some of these messages lead me to believe it's good. Is this game supposed to be harder than it seems to me?

As I said above, I'm new to the game.. so can someone tell me, what does WRAP do? Maybe I'm retarded but I can't figure out what it does and the instructions are for the older version!

my top score is 30645 on 4.0. I've had this version pretty much since the day it came out, I have an addiction.

My trick is to get as much Life as I can because levels 10 - 16 have little Life.

Use the laser once per brick, then hit it can get you extra points.
Use gun on grey bricks.
Each time you get an item, you get points, though I hate Flip.

Thats about it.

After over a year of not being able to break 30,000 on 4.0, I have entered the matrix of brickbreaking, I am in a 5 day battle, I still have 10 men left and I am nearing 90,000 points...I to have an addiction and I can't believe my current score. I was so amazed that I decided to see if anyone actually cared enough about this little addictive game enough to post scores online and I was surprised to find this group...anyway. I will get a screen shot at the end of this venture. At one point I had 29 men and I am pretty sure I have got to level 34 and back to 1 5 or 6 times so far....WHOOOO!!!!

I cant pass the three levesl the one after the L shaped grey bricks or the one after that...

It pisses me off how long it takes to get to those levels. Is there any way of skipping the easy borring levels?

Day 6 of this amazing conquest. At one point today I was down to ONE LIFE. I had 143,000 and wanted so badly to break 150,000. It was like all of my hard work was being destroyed. I had myself pinned in the corner with one life left and made a miraculous hit to get out and break the last brick. Over the next few levels I racked up a few more lives. RIGHT NOW I AM AT 157,965 and I have 9 lives...I hope this never stops.... I know this will be my last game because never again can I imagine topping this score.
