Anyone have any information on the BB 7520 being on back order from Nextel? What I am wondering if anyone, possible a CSR, has any idea when they should be getting more in stock?

I ordered one last friday directly from nextel telesales. The rep said that I should be receiving the phone no later than 1/31. Immediately after I placed the order, I received an e-mail stating that the 7520 is on FULFILLMENT_HOLD.

Also, I am unable to check the status of the order on Nextel's website. Everytime that I enter the order number, I receive a message that the number is invalid.

This is so frustrating! :(

I had the same problem when I ordered my blue tooth headset from them. I actually still have. Their website has no info on backorders or out of stock items, its very frustrating. Thankfully I already have my 7520.

I too had the same issue. I ordered my 7520 via nextel.com and got a email stating the item was backordered. I waited about a week and emailed nextel trying to get a e.t.a. on the phone and they replied saying they basically did not know when it would be shipped. Approx 3 days later I received it.

I ordered mine on January 5th and it took over three weeks to get it. I kept calling and emailing them and geyting told, "it should be in next week". Eventually they were right. :(

I finally got a reply from all the customer service e-mails that I sent from their website. They said that due to increased demand and the popularity of this item, it will be shipped next week.

Is this phone worth the hassel? It looks great and I have been hearing great things about it but I also heard great things about the SK II from T-mobile, that was a big disapointment!
