I have a user who wants to use an Excel file on her Blackberry, it containes Addresses, phone numbers and so forth.. She wants to keep it seperate from her Lotus Notes address book.

Alternatively, I found a kind of "roundabout" way of importing MS spreadsheet data into the BB address book the other day. Maybe there's a shorter way of doing this, but this is the software I had available.

Exported the excel spreadsheet to a comma-delimited file.

Import it into palm desktop and arrange your mapping fields so they match the data from the spreadsheet.

Once done, export the data into vcard format.

Import the vcard into outlook, groupwise, whatever you like that the BB manager will sync up with.

Then open BB manager and syncronize or import the data onto the blackberry.

Hope that helps a little.

However, this would combine the notes address book. Depends on which solution the user would rather have.
