Default Delegate deletes calendar appointments

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
We are on BES 4.0 and the majority of users use a 7100v.

A few of our execs have their secretaries manage their calendars, and when a secretary deletes an appointment, it will not be removed from the user's blackberry.

I have heard form Vodafone that this is due to the appointment being put in the secretary's deleted items, and not in the user's, so the blackberry cannot find it.

Is there a way around this, so that if the secretary deletes an appointment it gets deleted off the the user's blackberry?

Thank you for any advice

Not the best of solutions, but here goes :

Created multiple Outlook Profiles on the secretary's computer
-She will have to switch between her profile and her boss's to manage his calendar (if that is the only issue, she can do the rest using the additional mailbox in her profile)

Or

If you have a virtual desktop solution, like Citrix Metaframe, have her use a virtual desktop with her boss's Outlook configured in it instead of a additionnal mailbox in her profile

Look at Microsoft KB202517. This registry fix will allow the deleted items to go into the correct deleted items folder.

Wireless calendar sync will cause all kinds of headaches with delegated calendars if the secretary has a BB and is syncing their boss' calendar.
