Default FTP & Pics download to BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

i found that if I create a blackberry folder at my companies ftp server I can upload pictures, data, programs, whatever and then download them to the BB. Works great with personal pictures and also ring tones.

For Pictures keep in mind to resize your photos and offset them according to the top bar of the BB 4.0 OS homescreen.
Ring tones you must convert to midi and upload to ftp and download to unit.

...and remember you don't need company FTP space to do this! A lot of Internet Service Providers give you free webspace you don't use. Or even search google for Free Web Site

(Yahoo Geocities is pretty simple for most users)

also remember that when typing '101' about something, it generally means that it will be followed by a fairly detailed 'howto'. atleast thats what i would assume.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
