You have to extract the database of your palm contacts as a CSV File then import it to put look.

in out look go to file import/export --->import form another prog or file----->Comma separted values---then broswe to the file---and follow the on screen instructions

then sync your BB to outlook.

Dont need the gmail though thanks anyway!

another way is to export your plam data base as a ASCII file then import it in the intellisync program and seleted ASCII file as the translator

http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=14599

It installs as an add-on to Palm Desktop. One button and it copies everything to Outlook.

I used this for a client who's Palm device was lost and he had no intention of replacing it. Works fine.

If you still have your Palm you could do a sync, then install the Outlook conduit (PocketMirror), then sync the handheld to Outlook.

I've had little luck with Palm Desktop's export feature when I've needed to export *everything*.

Easier way to do this is:

1. Sync your PalmPilot directly to Outlook. (Use PocketMirror)

2. Sync Outlook to BlackBerry.
